Hamsadhwani
हंसध्वनि
Hamsadhwani is a pentatonic raga borrowed from the Carnatic tradition, omitting Madhyam and Dhaivat and using only shuddha swaras. Its bright, celebratory contour and strong Pancham–Shadja relationship make it a favoured opening piece and a staple of tarana and instrumental concerts.
