Kafi

Kafi is the namesake raga of its thaat, a sampurna structure with komal Gandhar and komal Nishad. Its warm, folk-inflected ambience makes it the default scale for Holi thumris, horis and dadras, and artists frequently admit shuddha Ga and Ni as anya swaras.
