Kedar
केदार
Kedar uses both shuddha and tivra Madhyam and is distinguished by its characteristic vakra phrase 'S M, M P'. Its zig-zag, slightly mysterious gait lends it a devotional colour traditionally linked to Shiva, and it is a favoured raga for the early hours of night.
