Nat Malhar

Combining the heroic Nat with the rain-laden Malhar, this mishra raga uses shuddha Gandhar in ascent and a Malhar-flavoured 'M R P' phrase, with komal Nishad creeping into the descent. Its character is brighter and more martial than most Malhars, reflecting the Nat lineage.
