Shuddh Malhar

The oldest Malhar prototype, Shuddh Malhar omits Gandhar and employs the characteristic 'R M R P' oscillation that anchors the whole Malhar family. Rain-evoking and meditative, it uses shuddha Nishad in aroha with a light komal Ni descent, without the Bageshri or Bilawal colours that later Malhars admit.
