An ancient pentatonic raga of the Bhairav family, Vibhas omits Madhyam and Nishad and uses komal Rishabh and komal Dhaivat. Its spare, sunrise-welcoming contour makes it one of the most distinctive pentatonic morning ragas, quite different from Bhairav proper.
