Marwa

Marwa, the namesake raga of its thaat, omits Pancham and weights its melodic gravity on komal Rishabh and shuddha Dhaivat over tivra Madhyam. The absence of Sa and Pa as resting points creates a sense of unresolved twilight, making Marwa one of the most evocative sandhi-prakash ragas.
